Client: Jointine Products Ltd

About: Lincoln-based manufacturer of gasket paper for the automotive industry, Jointine Products Ltd is a trusted long-time client of Ormond Pipework Services. 

The problem: 

Due to a steam boiler failing to supply a machine, our client required a temporary boiler to avoid losing production.

Ormond’s Gas Safe engineers agreed that hot tapping a new 2-inch connection onto their 3-inch gas main was the best solution to supply their temporary boiler.

This is because hot tapping avoids system downtime, indirect/direct gas purging, gas testing and the job was able to be complete within one day.
