The problem: Bridlington Hospital require a Gas Safe certificate each year for their commercial gas installation.
Industrial Gas Safe engineers, Ormond Pipework, were brought in to inspect if Bridlington Hospital’s gas pipework was up to current standers and in a safe condition.
Our solution: In order to perform a pressure drop test (gas leak test), Ormond turned off the gas supply to the hospital. We then attached our manometer to measure the movement in pressure over a set time. The Pressure held and Ormond issued a successful Gas Safe Certificate.
We then turned the gas supply back on and refired the appliances.
Tasks involved:
Commercial gas pressure test
Commercial underground gas pipework
